Oftedal Scholarship Fund: Supporting the next generation
We aim to support the growth of our next generation—no matter what their interests or aspirations—by providing scholarships for our employees’ children. Since its inception in 2000, the W.T. & James E. Oftedal Scholarship Fund has provided over $140,000 in scholarships.

Volunteerism: Giving our time to help those in need
In addition to providing monetary support for local charities, we also strive to serve those in need by volunteering in our local communities.
Meals on Wheels
One of the organizations that we have supported through the years is Meals on Wheels. There is no greater satisfaction than that of providing nutritional meals and company for our elderly neighbors.
Firefighting
In emergency situations Oftedal helps. For example, when fires broke out in Montana and Wyoming Oftedal joined local firefighters to help protect persons and property.
Environmental Stewardship: Minimizing Negative Impacts
Oftedal works in some of the most pristine environments found in the United States. We are keenly aware that our daily construction activities have potential to adversely impact the environment if not done correctly. We accept the universal responsibility to do all we can to ensure present and future generations will continue to have clean air, clean water and enjoy all that our natural world has to offer. Our commitment to environmental sustainability and stewardship is reflected not only in our compliance and internal training but by the people we employ.
